Stalker Robot?

March 5, 2009

A research assistant at Toshiba’s Akimu Robotic Research Institute was trapped in a lab by a robot which repeatedly hugged her.

A female intern would spend several hours each day testing and loading new software into Kenji, the hugging robot. When it was time to leave one evening, Kenji refused to let the intern leave and used his body to block the doorway and repeatedly hugged her. After phoning two staff members, the intern was finally able to leave. This will definitely be some trauma for her! If the staff members came late, Kenji may have committed something worth capital punishment.

Sega Light Gun Mistaken for Real Weapon

March 5, 2009

A Brazilian man held a woman hostage for 10 hours with this Sega Light Phaser Gun. Although it is not a real weapon, from the distant eye, anyone would mistake it for an actual firearm. I do think its retarded that he held a 60 year-old woman hostage. I find it even more repulsive that he did it with a video game gun. I mean, whatever happened to airsoft guns? A+ for originality though. I hope he gets locked up for a long time just because he held a woman hostage, but being a fake gun, I don’t know how that will pan out.

iPod Touch Racing Wheel

March 5, 2009

For 5 months, I had an iTouch still in the box sitting on my desk like a decoration. When I found out all the video game apps that it was capable of, I opened it up and started to download everything. Let me just say that the iTouch is ideal for road trips and flights.

Enough about my iTouch, Hamas unveiled the Game Wheel Speed-X which is said to be the racing wheel for your Apple product — iPod Touch and maybe the iPhone.  Although this is a good idea, the iTouch and iPhone are handheld items, meaning why would you lug this thing around in public!?
