Marvel VS. Capcom 2 Coming to PS3 and XBOX 360

April 28, 2009

To continue my infinite blog posts about Street Fighter, Capcom will be releasing Marvel VS. Capcom 2 on both PS3 and Xbox360 this summer. It will be priced for $15 on the PS3 and 1200 XBLA points on the 360. All I know is that I’m getting this game, but before that I need to get Street Fighter IV still!

Street Fighter IV X Triumvir

April 15, 2009

Capcom’s Street Fighter IV has teamed up with Santa Ana clothing brand Triumvir to produce a line of streetwear dedicated to the Street Fighter IV fans. Now I usually only blog about technology, but Street Fighter IV being a video game and one of my all time favorite games, I decided this was worth while.

One of my friends sent me there link, but it looks like the pre-sale shirts have already been sold out. The design that stands out the most is Dhalsim, pure bad ass!

Street Fighter Movies Just Suck

March 18, 2009

This is a trailer to a Hong Kong based movie called Future Cops (aka Street Fighter). This solidifies my theory on how all Street Fighter movies suck. From the Jean Claude Van Dam Guile movie to the Chun Li Story that recently came out, all of them were horrible. It gives a good laugh and a reason for all die hard fans to complain, but come on now, the fans want to see something GREAT. Bring it Capcom and Hollywood.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li

March 2, 2009

Now how does this relate to technology? My best answer is to say that Street Fighter is a video game and is created by Capcom, hence this is technology related.

I’m a die hard Street Fighter fan, but let me just say that this movie blows! It is so predictable and really just random. It did capture a little of the Street Fighter Chun Li story, but most of it was pretty outrageous.

I don’t even agree with them using Chris Klein as Charlie Nash in the movie…dude he was from American Pie! How can I take this guy seriously?

Did I mention that M. Bison was a white guy born in Thailand in the movie?

The best part was Maya…this lovely mixed girl. Her real name is Moon Bloodgood.

Other than that, I advise everyone to past on this movie, save some money and your time! I expected Capcom to have a bigger say in this, but maybe I was wrong.
