Norhtec’s $199 Gecko Edubook

June 12, 2009

Is it really possible for a laptop to be $199.00? Is it even more possible that this laptop runs on AA batteries, the most common batteries of all? Well believe it or not, this Gecko Edubook is finally available for purchase. However, you will be giving someone in Thailand your credit card number, which I highly am against. Also the shipping fee would probably be at least $50.00 and you would probably have to pay customs.

This laptop is probably great for travel use, but I wouldn’t count on it as my everyday laptop. I think it would also drain the AA batteries with the quickness.

Wall-E Computer

April 9, 2009

This is no joke! An incredible and talented modder spent 18 days to build this Wall-E computer. What took him 18 days would probably take me almost a year! He got all the small details that makes Wall-E..Wall-E. I wonder how much he would get if he put this work of art on sale?
