Classic Tough Teal G-Shock

June 5, 2009

Lately I have been having a falling out with my watches. Perhaps the reason for that is because I am being reaquainted with my other previous collecting hobbies. I do enjoy a new watch here and there and this one is probably the one that rings my bell the most.

If any G-shock fans remember, Hawaii based brand In4mation did a collab with G-shock and produced a limited Teal In4mation G-Shock. It was released for $110-$130 and then doubled in resell value for up to $260. However, if you were just a fan of the color, you can purchase the one pictured above for $99.00! I believe it was the same exact model as well. Everything looks the same minu the “In4mation” branding on the watch band.

I must state that the watch is a pretty bright color, so people might either think you’re really stylish or you are borderline femme.

Purple Rain In4mation G-Shock on G-Shock.com

March 24, 2009

For those of you who have been looking around for the Purple Rain In4mation G-Shock, you can get it on G-shock.com for $110. I paid $130 for mine and never thought that G-shock.com would ever carry the collab, boy was I wrong! Sure it is a bright color, but if you are a young guy like myself and your girlfriend loves purple, I’m sure she would love it when you wear this watch. If not, get it for her!

Casio G-Shock Matte Black Pack

March 16, 2009

I’m actually diggin this collection. Although it’s not limited, nor is it some collaboration with a bright color, I love these two watches. Being older and in the real world, I need a watch that simple, but yet practical and heavy duty. G-shocks have always been the answer for me and these two watches are the next answers to my collection. These were released in Japan, but are now available for purchase in the United States.

I’m really leaning towards getting both of these time pieces, but maybe I don’t need that many black watches. Anyone have an input?

In4mation X Casio G-Shock

March 16, 2009

Power house Hawaii clothing brand, In4mation, does it again with another collaboration with Casio to produce this fine G-Shock. Again with the non-boring colors, In4mation brings this watch with a salmon color hit. This watch is expected sometime in June 2009, but just like every other G-shock they put out, expect the date to be backed up a few months. I’ve waited an extra 3 months for the Purple Rain In4mation G-Shock and I do not expect anything different for this one.

Check out the lighted picture below with “aloha” shown…FRESH!

Alife State of Mind Casio G-Shock 5600

February 17, 2009

You have probably guessed that I’m a big Casio G-Shock fan by now. I’m also a big fan of streetwear clothing brand, Alife. This G-shock is rumored to only have 100 in its existence. You can only get this G-shock at Alife flagship stores. The price is $210, it’s a pretty penny, but the watch is definitely worth it. Check out the black on black face with the red number!

Goodenough X G-Shock

February 4, 2009

Yesterday I introduced two upcoming G-shock collaborations. Today is nothing different. Japanese streetwear brand, Goodenough will be joining up with G-shock to bring this exclusive DW-5600. This definitely stands out above the other G-shocks. Its real simple and non-bulky. To purchase, you must either have connections in Japan or live there as well! Can we say exclusive?

Casio G-Shock Collaborations: DQM and LRG

February 3, 2009

Everyone knows that I’m a big watch fanatic, but perhaps my favorite watch brand is Casio, particularly the G-Shock models. Did I mention that I’m also a fan of loud G-Shock watches? Urban clothing company Lifted Research Group (LRG) came together with Casio to make this classic aquamarine DW-6900 accented with white and red. New York store Dave’s Quality Meats (DQM) also teamed up with Casio to make their own version of the DW-6900. I like this one better because it’s a bit cleaner, but still stands out. Both watches should be available at selectedt retailers soon.
