Nintendo DSi

April 10, 2009

With the latest release of the Nintendo DSi, what should concurrent Nintendo DS Lite users do? Well right now at Gamestop you can trade in your old DS Lite and receive $70 trade in credit towards a DSi, making the DSi only $100.00 .

Yesterday I went into Gamestop to trade in my DS Lite, but instead of getting the DSi, I decided to just sell it and get cash because I don’t have time to play video games much. However, I did notice that GTA: Chinatown Wars was finally out…so sad my life. On the other hand, my sister does have a pink DS Lite that I can borrow and play with.

By the way, for everyone that still owns Gameboy Advance games, Nintendo DSi does not offer that cartridge slot anymore, so the GA games will not be compatible.

GIANT Lego Nintendo DSi

April 6, 2009

This gigantic Nintendo DSi was created using  over 51,000 lego pieces. The replica is nearly 7 feet wide and weighs a whopping 250 lbs. It is amazing how the full blow DSi looks factory and doesn’t seem to have any Lego pieces present.

Chinavision’s Emulator Filled Handheld

April 3, 2009

This looks like a chopped version of the Nintendo DS Lite. At $88.00 this comes with SD card, mini USB, NTSC/PAL TV out, FM radio, voice recorder, and stereo speakers. For $88.00 and it comes with a bunch of games from NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy Advance and Neo Geo, what else can I ask for?

Game Boy iPhone Skin

April 2, 2009

I remember way back when customizing the look of your phone was the thing to do, especially with those bulky Nokia phones. As phones become more futuristic, more customizations are thought of, like this gameboy iPhone skin. If i saw someone with this, I would think uber nerd or geek. But hey, whatever floats your boat!

My PSP is Fixed!

March 30, 2009

Have a cracked PSP screen? DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. I literally dropped my PSP two years ago and the screen cracked. I found it about a month ago and was about to throw it away, but asked my sister’s boyfriend if he could fix it.

Just received it this past weekend and it’s resurrected! The broken LCD screen was switched out with a replacement screen bought on Ebay for $30.00. In no time at all the PSP was fixed. Now, I have to buy games for the PSP, since I sold all of them when the PSP broke..=/

Creative Arcade Joysticks

March 30, 2009

Adding upon the Nike SB joysticks are more creative ones! I guess this is a subculture that I did not know about. Making joysticks out of books and boxes must be the latest craze. I don’t understand it, but I do appreciate the work and effort that people put behind their creations

Nike SB Boxes turned into Xbox 360 Arcade Sticks

March 30, 2009

The fact that someone customized Nike shoe boxes into Xbox 360 Arcade Sticks screams “GHETTO!” In a recession like this, maybe it is vital to make use and recycle/reuse everything you have, but this is kind of ridiculous. The best part is that I have those shoe boxes too!

Nintendo DSi Camera Seems Awesome

March 26, 2009

Unlike the Nintendo DS/DS Lite, the DSi offers a few new amazing features, one of which is the camera. At first I was skeptical about the DSi coming with the camera, but it actually looks promising and very clear. I like the fact that you can customize each picture by drawing on it. Maybe I will get one when it comes out!

Xbox360 Bites Wii

March 25, 2009

It seems as if Xbox 360 has bit (bit meaning copied) Nintendo Wii’s Wiimote. It is slated for a fall release. The Freedom acts like the Wiimote, except it has more accurate controller triangulation.
