Best Buy Sued for Violating Price Match Policy

March 24, 2009

Thomas Jermyn has filed a suit against Best Buy for “extreme” violation of its own Price Match Policy, and that the company uses the advertised policy as a way to get consumers into their stores to purchase gear. We don’t know how Best Buy’s Price Match policy operates, but we know that the company has routinely denied the Price Match policy.

I even remember a time when Playstation first came out with the Dual Shock Controller. I went to the local Best Buy to price match with Target and I was denied. Funny thing was that two weeks later, Kmart had a cheaper price than Target and Target was more than willing to price match the item!

Best Buy isn’t the place for the best buy after all.

Circuit City Will Now Be Liquidated

January 16, 2009

Recently the local Circuit City in my town closed down. Sure enough I knew it was a sign of decreasing sales. Well Circuit City is now forced to liquidate, which means good buys for bargain hunters and sad times for employees. It is said that they will liquidate 567 of their very own! Other liquidators include Great American Group LLC, Hudson Capital Partners LLC, SB Capital Group LLC, and Tiger Capital Group LLC. THIS RECESSION IS NO JOKE!
