Transforming Qosmo Laptop

May 26, 2009

It seems like Transformers are coming in almost everything besides cars. If you recall, the company made Transformers from shoes, USBs and a computer Mouse…now laptop. The laptop is everyone’s favorite cassette playing Autobot, Blaster. This is not an ordinary transformer toy because it is a fully function 4 port USB hub. Kind of insane if you ask me, toys that are more than toys? If you want to pick this up, you better contact your Japanese friend to pick this up in Tokyo for you for $40.00

Wolverine Claws…BORING

May 11, 2009

I know that these claws are meant to be toys for children, but come on…this looks horrible. Sure it isn’t crazy amazing like the homemade claws I showed a while ago, but still this doesn’t even scream Wolverine. When I think of Wolverine, I think of something fierce and crazy. Sadly, these claws does not scream out anything that I should be afraid of. Available at $19.52 on Amazon, these gloves have retractable blades and make noises when you shoot them out….still horrible attempt.

SOBEAR

May 11, 2009

This cute stuff animal isn’t your cuddle buddy at night. This furry panda is actually your responsible bartender. It has a built in breath anaylyzer  that will only dispense liquor depending upon how drunk you are. This would definitely be the talk to the party. Imagine the drunk guy being upset because the teddy bear wouldn’t give him any more booze!

I Think I Want One of These

May 6, 2009

Growing up, I was always fascinated with motorcycles. I always wanted one, but the parentals and significant other wouldn’t allow it. So henceforth, I might purchase this Ducati R/C Motorcycle from ThinkGeek. This item features a fully proportional digital control with a working suspension and a rider that leans and turns his head into each turn. It’s almost like the real thing, but super miniature!

New Tiny and Small RC Car

April 7, 2009

This is probably the tiniest RC race car available on the market. You can’t drive it, but it sure does go round and round in circles. All you do is throw it onto the charger and then launch it into the packaged shaped bowl it came in and whoalah, the car goes in circles a bunch of times. It might not be fun for you, but your pet dog or cat will definitely get a kick out of it.

iPod Touch Racing Wheel

March 5, 2009

For 5 months, I had an iTouch still in the box sitting on my desk like a decoration. When I found out all the video game apps that it was capable of, I opened it up and started to download everything. Let me just say that the iTouch is ideal for road trips and flights.

Enough about my iTouch, Hamas unveiled the Game Wheel Speed-X which is said to be the racing wheel for your Apple product — iPod Touch and maybe the iPhone.  Although this is a good idea, the iTouch and iPhone are handheld items, meaning why would you lug this thing around in public!?

Nintendo DSi Pre-Order for $169.99

March 3, 2009

For everyone who is waiting for the Nintendo DSi, you can now pre-order your new handheld console on Amazon.com . Trust that these will sell out on the drop date of April 5, 2009. Possibly the best new add on feature is the cameras: one of the front (external) and one when you open up the DSi.

World’s Smallet 3 Channel R/C Helicopter

February 25, 2009

The Dark Blace R/C Helicopter from ThinkGeek  is the world’s smallest R/C 3 channel helicopter. Over the weekend I was looking at the ThinkGeek catalog and thought this would be nifty. Its very small, but combines a great experience when manning the copter around the office. I believe the price is $40, but you can get it at www.thinkgeek.com

Nintendo DSi Release

February 19, 2009

Nintendo has officially released the drop date information for the DSi in North America. Priced at $169.99, a matte blue or matte black DSi will be released on April 5th, 2009. The DSi is 2.6mm thinner than the DS, has 0.3 megapixel camera, SD card slot, and two 3.25-inch screens. I’d most likely sell my DS and pick this one up!

Toy and Action Figure Museum

February 11, 2009

Now, i don’t really have a technology purpose for this post, but maybe it can tie in with how nerdy this is. As a child I collected my fair share of action figures, but I doubt that anyone can even touch this guy’s collection.

In Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, you visit this museum that Kevin Stark started because of his obsession of collecting figurines. I do have to admit, even though this is super nerdy, he has a great collection. I even see some of the figures that I used to have when i was yay high. Check the rest of the photos from Wired.
